Director

Josh completed his trade qualification in 2003. Following this, Josh spent 10 years as a service and installation mechanic servicing and installing all major supermarkets and commercial refrigeration.

Josh then fulfilled numerous roles within the refrigeration trade including Estimating, Project Management (Diploma), Department Management and General Management before deciding to take his knowledge and passion for this industry further by launching First Class Refrigeration alongside business partner Dave Alford in 2021.

In Josh’s career he has completed many turn-key post stamp projects with great success. These include Adelaide Oval Redevelopment, nRAH hospital, Wayville showgrounds, Entertainment centre, Sky City Adelaide and Coopers Stadium.

Josh is recognised for his industry knowledge, excellent client relationships and approach to building rapport with consultants and subcontractors to achieve quality project outcomes.

Dave entered the HVAC Industry in 2002, installing commercial air conditioning and sheet metal duct work in several large projects across Adelaide before taking on an invested interest and passion in commercial refrigeration. 

Dave was involved in a number of large air conditioning projects across Adelaide including nursing homes, schools, multi storey buildings and shopping centres. In 2010 Dave entered the commercial refrigeration industry where he met and assisted Josh with site managing and installing some major refrigeration projects around Adelaide including Adelaide oval redevelopment, nRAH hospital, Marion Shopping Centre, Coopers Stadium, Sky City Casino and numerous service station franchises to name a few. 

Dave is recognised for his onsite knowledge, experience and efficiency with all major and minor projects. His attention to quality and detail is widely sought after with his ability to manage any project from start to finish with confidence.
